Kotto's Kananga returns!!!!

In the summer of 2016 the James Bond novels and character have entered the public domain in most of the world (but not the USA), Yaphet Kotto and Nelson Thall teamed up to produce "a parody of an unauthorized 007 stories of the Return of Dr. Kananga 

So here it is: in mid-January, Canadian readers will be able to pick up a copy of Kananga's return: THE UNAUTHORIZED JAMES BOND NOVEL, authored by Yaphet Kotto. The parody will feature several books of a serial, and transformative stories about Dr. Kananga survival as he faked his own demise (and survived and travelled and killed and robbed and schemed to kill Bond and yes, fucked Bond's women) from Ian Fleming's original stories. These stories will categorically not reference anything from the Live and Let Die film or the preceding novel because the copyright still stands on those. As mentioned above, Kotto has taken great care to ensure that the book which was written and copyrighted in Canada respects all the existing copyright protections on the license at the same time as Kotto and Thall take the liberties copyright law affords them. 

These seven Books of Kananga's return has been told in the same interesting manner as some Canadian talented writers, whom many of have heard of: Tony Burgess, Laird Barron, Nathan Ballingrud, Claude Lalumiere, Robert Wiersema, A.M. Delamonica, Ian Rogers, Corey Rekekop and Kelly Robson. Some of them may well be new to you, as we expect that we will be opening the book up for pre sales in the coming weeks.

There will likely be a Big Bang to make sure that this is the biggest Bond ever, and so that we can launch the book someplace with a nice shark tank with Bond perhaps floating face down in it leaving the great Dr. Kananga as the world's greatest crime fighter. Again, stay tuned to this channel.
