By JON AUSTIN Kerry visited the frozen continent last month, officially to highlight the effects of climate change, but  conspiracy theorists  bizarrely claim it was to examine “Nazi UFO bases.” The madcap claim stems back to earlier conspiracy theories, one being that Adolf Hitler did not commit suicide in his Berlin bunker in May 1945, but escaped in a submarine to a secret base in Antarctica.  The other is astonishingly that the Nazis shared secret Antarctic  UFO  bases with reptilian alien species in the run up to WWII, where they experimented with flying saucer technology. Now, after the Kerry visit, which conspiracy theorists suggest was to view these bases, it is being claimed that a Nazi UFO base is visible in images of the Antarctic taken by NASA.   Read ...

(REUTERS/Mike Blake) Canada experienced a very high number of reported UFO sightings in 2015, according to an  annual survey  released by Winnipeg, Manitoba-based Ufology Research. Chris Rutkowski, one of the researchers that compiled the survey, told CBC that reported sightings in Canada last year were the second highest since the survey began in 1989. There were 1,267 reported sightings of UFOs in 2015, according to the report, up from 1,021 in 2014. The highest number of reported sightings was 1,981 in 2012. Survey researchers  note  that 2012 was the year of the so-called “end of the world” event associated with the ancient Mayan calendar, potentially fuelling interest in UFOs.   Read more >> S...

Credit: trendhunter.com Police brutality occurs for a number of reasons: the most common is racial discrimination. 89% of the people who died in NYPD custody between the years 1990 and 1994 were African American or Hispanic (Elisha, Joshua & Zenobia, 2010). Some examples of this brutality are the cases involving Rodney King, Oscar Grant III, Patrick Hall and Abner Louima. 59% of all Americans in 1999 agreed that racial discrimination was a major problem. (The Struggle Against Racial Profiling, n.d.) A study was conducted that proved that “minority citizens are stopped by the police more than white citizens but minority driven vehicles are no more likely to have drug paraphernalia than whites’ vehicles” (Lundman, 2008, p.242). Racial discrimination is the main cause of police brutality.
