12 different Unidentified Flying Objects, UFOs, spotted in South Africa  It seems aliens have been trying to make contact with the people of Cape Town. The UFO Research of South Africa (UfoRSA) says it received 12 different reports of a light in the sky last week. “These were different reports from different people. Many were from Cape Town but we also got responses from people in the Northern Cape and Namibia,” says UfoRSA website creator Gert Jordaan. One alien spotter known only as Michael posted: “Appearing from behind Lions Head, travelling into the wind, two vapour shapes that resembled trumpets, one behind the other, moved towards Table Mountain. Into a strong head wind the vapour cloud kept its shape, and a bright light appeared briefly moving behind the cloud.” Many also posted pics on the UfoRSA website. The first publicized sighting of the lights occurred on August 25, 1951, at around 9 pm. Three professors from Texas Technological College (now  Texas Tech University ), located in  Lubbock , were sitting in the backyard of one of the professor's homes when they observed the "lights" fly overhead. A total of 20-30 lights, as bright as stars but larger in size, flew over the yard in a matter of seconds. Utilizing a powerful  NASA  space telescope to explore the skies for planets similar to ours where life might exist, astronomers stated Thursday they have discovered the most  Earth -like candidates yet. October first of 2002, while vacationing in the Southern Chilean city of Concepcion, a group of family members found what appeared to a small humaniod creature. The miniscule being measures about 7.2 centimetres long. It has a relatively large head, two arms with longs fingers, and two legs. The discovery was first reported by "Mega News Service", which is the local news channel in the Santiago area. According to previously gathered evidence an interviews conducted by journalist Rodrigo Ugarte, the bizarre creature was found among bushes by one of the children during an outdoors trip. The child allegedly picked it up and wrapped it with a piece of paper. The child claims that it stayed alive for about eight days, and in some instances, it even opened its eyes.
